- Rice Village is centred on Kirby Drive and University Boulevard and has been a shopping district since 1938. The district site is run by Rice University's property company, so its parking rules apply to Rice's own garages.
- The first two hours are free in the Rice Village Main Garage or the rooftop lot, both entered from Kelvin Drive. After two hours you pay through the ParkMobile app, and a flat $8 rate applies after 8pm.
