Galleria / Uptown
Texas's biggest mall and the Waterwall
Uptown is Houston's second downtown: the 400-store Galleria with its indoor ice rink, the 64-foot Waterwall, and more hotel rooms than anywhere else in the city. Convenient, polished, car-dependent.
Vibe: polished, shopping, hotels. Best for: shopping, business travel, hotel deals.
