Privacy policy

Experiencing Houston, a trade name of Aspen Ridge Capital LLC ("we") collects as little as we can. There are no accounts and no logins. Here is what we do collect, why, who sees it, and how to have it removed.

We do not collect names, payment details, or precise location. Please don't type personal information into the concierge or trip planner; it is stored as written.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, analytics and advertising storage are switched off by default (Google Consent Mode), so no analytics cookie is set there. If display ads are shown, the ad network may set its own cookies; you can opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com. The site itself sets no other cookies.
Who else sees data
- Google (Analytics, and AdSense when enabled).
- Beehiiv, which stores newsletter subscribers and sends the weekly email. Their privacy policy applies to the email you receive.
- Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting, bot protection), which process data on our behalf.
- OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to, which receive the text of concierge questions and trip requests to generate answers. We do not send them your email or IP address.
- Resend and Microsoft 365, which deliver and receive our email.
- Booking partners you click through to, under their own policies.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't use tracking pixels in the site itself.
Your choices and rights
- Newsletter: every email has an unsubscribe link, effective immediately.
- Analytics: use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or your browser's tracking protection.
- Access or deletion: email hello@experiencinghouston.com from the address in question and we will delete your subscription record and any message you sent us within 30 days. Concierge questions are stored without any identifier, so we cannot match them to you.
Residents of California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with privacy laws have rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data. We honor those requests for everyone, wherever you live, by email.
Children
The site is for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access limited to the site operator. IP addresses used for abuse prevention are stored only as salted hashes.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top will move and the change will be described on this page.
