Go at night; it's lit and the mist is cooler. Park in the Williams Tower visitor garage or the Galleria's Red garage; street parking nearby may be paid.

- Free to enter, always. The cost visitors meet is parking, and Uptown's own page says plainly that "some parking may require payment".
- Uptown Houston's page recommends two different garages in two different places - the Williams Tower Visitor Parking Garage in one section and the Galleria's Red garage in another. Both are a short walk; street parking exists in the surrounding blocks.
- The same page also contradicts itself on hours, listing "Mon - Sun : 9am - 8pm" in one block and 8am-9pm in another. We publish 9am-8pm, the more conservative of the two; do not plan a 8:30pm visit on the strength of the other one.
- It sits at 2800 Post Oak Boulevard, inside one of the largest business districts in the country, which is why the live oak canopy around it reads as such a contrast.
