Only the first 10 businesses get it; then the price goes to $490. What you get is the same, and the offer ends automatically once the 10th page sells.

  • Pinned position at the top of your category and your neighborhood.
  • Your own booking link in place of ours, so the click goes to you and we earn nothing on it.
  • The Thursday newsletter, until you have reached 10,000 inboxes. Your page runs in the “Featured places” block of every issue until it has been delivered 10,000 times, however long that takes. If the list is small when you buy, that is many issues; the guarantee does not expire with your year.

Why inboxes, not issues

A promise of “one mention” is worth whatever the list happens to be that week, and we would rather not sell you that. Deliveries are the number the email platform reports for each issue, so it is a figure we can show you, not one we estimate. We count deliveries rather than opens because Apple Mail reports opens that never happened.

The honest part

Paid placement is labelled “Sponsored” wherever it appears, and it never changes what we write or how we rank anywhere else on the site. A pinned card keeps its real editorial rank number next to it, so you can see exactly what was bought and what was earned. The full terms are short: advertiser terms.

Why a year, not a month

One annual charge, no auto-renewal chasing and no monthly invoice to think about. When the year is up it simply ends, and you can claim it again if it was worth it.

How to claim

Card payment. We check each listing by hand before it goes live, usually within one business day, and your year starts the day it does. If we can't confirm you represent the business, we refund in full.
