The largest Renaissance festival in the US, on 55 acres an hour northwest of Houston, eight weekends each October and November. Costumes, jousting, turkey legs, and themed weekends.

What they actually say

  • The 2026 season runs weekends only, 10 October to 29 November, plus Thanksgiving Friday. There is no weekday festival.
  • Gates are 9am to 8pm, but there is NO ENTRY after 7pm. Arriving at 7:30 for the evening atmosphere does not work.
  • It is at 21778 Farm to Market 1774 in Todd Mission, about an hour northwest of Houston - genuinely out of town, not a city trip.
  • The site runs themed weekends, so which weekend you pick changes what you see. Camping on site is a formal option with its own passes, reservations and campground rules.
  • The festival office answers Monday to Friday 8am-5pm on 281-356-2178, which is the only way to reach anyone midweek when the festival itself is shut.
