Arena Theatre
The Arena Theatre is Houston's theatre in the round, on the Southwest Freeway at Fondren, and the seating is the point: it configures for 1,255, 1,927 or 2,711 and no seat is more than sixty feet from the stage, which is why Latin, R&B and tribute acts that could fill a bigger room book it. It is also the strictest door on this list. The bag policy is clear-bag with a small non-clear clutch exception, there is no re-entry once your ticket is scanned, everyone passes a metal detector, and the two attached garages take cards only at $20. The garages connect to the building by corridor, so you never walk in the weather, but read the entrance directions first: all three are off different roads.

What the venue actually says
- Clear-bag policy: a non-clear clutch or purse may be no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches; anything bigger must be clear and no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Guest Services will not hold a bag for you.
- No re-entry. Once your ticket is scanned and you are inside, you cannot leave and come back.
- Parking is in the two garages attached to the theatre, $20 per vehicle, debit or credit card only. Cash is not accepted. The garages and their lifts are colour-coded red and blue; accessible parking is inside the garage.
- Three garage entrances: from the Highway 59 / I-69 access road just past Fung's Kitchen, from Bellaire Boulevard just past Mr. Car Wash, and from Fondren Road just before Pollo Rico.
- Door times vary by show and are guidelines only. Check your ticket, or call the box office on (713) 772-5900.
- Everyone entering goes through a metal-detector screening and bag inspection.
- Every person needs a ticket regardless of age, including infants.
- Alcohol is served to 21 and over only, with ID checked at every purchase. Concessions sell nachos, hot dogs and popcorn.
- Prohibited: cameras and recording devices, laptops and tablets, reusable cups such as Stanley or YETI, strollers, selfie sticks, outside food and drink, vapes, lighters and cigarettes.
- Photography and recording are prohibited without advance written permission.
- Strollers and wheelchairs cannot go into the seating sections; a check service is at the box office. Accessible seating is bought through the box office by phone or in person.
- Non-smoking building. No public wifi. There is an ATM in the lobby by the box office.
- Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster or the box office; all sales are final and resale is not permitted.
- The box office is in the hallway connecting the two towers: Monday to Friday 12 to 4pm, and 12 to 9pm on event days.
- All events are rain or shine, with no refunds or exchanges for weather.
- Four full-service bars inside. Capacity configures to 1,255, 1,927 or 2,711.
