What they actually say
- Parking is the cost you actually meet: the Theater District Parking Garage charges a flat $18 for special-event parking and connects to Jones Hall by tunnel, so you never cross a street. The three garages hold 3,369 spaces and run 24/7.
- One Market Square Garage (800 Preston Street), one block away, is the cheaper play: concertgoers get 20% off by validating their ticket at the Louisiana lobby kiosk, before or after the show.
- Children aged six and up are welcome at all Classical, Vitol POPS and Symphony Special concerts. Children of any age are welcome at the PNC Family Series only.
- Latecomers are not turned away but are not seated at will either: "Each performance typically allows for late seating, which is scheduled in intervals and determined by the conductor."
- Exchanging a ticket costs $15 on a single ticket and $5 for subscribers to fewer than six concerts; six-concert-plus packages exchange free. Symphony Specials and Summer Series performances cannot be exchanged at all.
- Valet parking is for Conductor's Circle members only, from 7pm for evening concerts and 1:30pm for matinees.
