What they actually say

  • Table reservations cost a flat fee with no minimum spend and no per-person charge: $25 per table Monday to Thursday and from $50 per table Friday to Sunday. The last slot you can book is 8pm, and cancelling at least two days ahead is a full refund.
  • It is 21+ after 9pm Sunday to Thursday and after 8pm on Friday and Saturday. Before that children are welcome, on the condition that they stay within ten feet of you and off the hammocks.
  • Axelrad serves no food of its own. It shares a patio with Luigi's Pizzeria, rotates food trucks booked about two weeks ahead, and you are welcome to bring in outside food.
  • Dog-friendly in earnest - they keep dog bowls and treats - provided your dog is leashed, well-behaved and spayed or neutered.
  • Parking is a lot catty-corner from the front door, a gravel lot behind Luigi's, and street parking. They take 5% off if you arrive by Uber, taxi, bike, bus, rail or on foot.
  • If you leave without closing your tab, a 20% gratuity is added automatically. No dress code beyond being clothed and wearing shoes.
