The name changed, and it trips people up. The Houston Botanic Garden's winter light trail is called Radiant Nature; the Lightscape branding it ran under previously is gone, and old links to it now land on the new event.
Entry is timed in fifteen-minute slots starting in the early evening, so you book a specific arrival rather than a date. That is worth knowing because it runs on select evenings — mostly Fridays through Sundays with some weeknights added around the holidays — rather than nightly.
The garden is at 1 Botanic Lane, southeast of downtown off Sims Bayou, which is farther out than most people expect and not near anything else you would pair it with. Plan it as the evening. Parking is paid on site, with a cheaper off-site shuttle option in past seasons.
The trail is under a mile and is paved or decomposed granite the whole way, so strollers and wheelchairs handle it. Dates and prices for the coming season post in the autumn — check their site before you buy.
